Most of the time there is nothing on our side at all. This page says exactly when that changes, and what it looks like when it does.

Stays on your device
- Every event, note and category you never switched to sync.
- Every category, always.

Reaches our server
- Events you switched to sync, with their notes and category names, under your account.
- Your username, a hashed password, an optional email for recovery.
- The IP address at signup, login and logout, for security auditing.
What sync is.
A copy. The server, operated by Arasaka in Italy, stores the fields you sent and returns them to your account on request. It does not read, index, summarise or share them, and the app loads no analytics or third-party script.
Stored readable, said plainly.
Synced events and their notes are stored on the server as readable fields, protected by the connection and by your login, not encrypted with a key only you hold. If a note must never be readable by anyone but you, keep that event local: the switch is per event.
Deleting.
Delete an event and it is removed locally and, if it was synced, from the server on the next successful call. Delete your account and its username and email become "Deleted user"; synced events stay stored under that placeholder unless you deleted them first.
Shared devices.
Logging out removes every local timeline from that browser. Download a backup first; the settings page also has a button to delete all local data without logging out.
