Most of the time there is nothing on our side at all. This page says exactly when that changes.
Two columns, no third.
Stays on your device
- Every event, note and category you never switched to sync.
- Every category, always.
- Imported backups.
- Your colour history and view settings.
Reaches our server
- Events you switched to sync, with their notes and category names, under your account.
- Your username, a hashed password, an optional email for recovery.
- The IP address at signup, login and logout, for security auditing.
What sync is.
A copy. The server stores the fields you sent and returns them to your account on request. It does not read, index, summarise or share them, and the app loads no analytics or third-party script.
Deleting.
Delete an event and it is removed locally and, if it was synced, from the server on the next successful call. Delete your account and its username and email become "Deleted user"; synced events stay stored under that placeholder unless you deleted them first.
Shared devices.
Logging out removes every local timeline from that browser. Download a backup first; the settings page also has a button to delete all local data without logging out.
