Is it free?
On the device, entirely and without limits. A free account syncs up to 25 events a year; Backup, at €15 a year, syncs up to 1,000.
Is it a medical app?
No. It records what you write and shows it on a calendar. It does not interpret, alert or advise, and it is not a substitute for your clinician's records.
Can I share a timeline with my doctor or a carer?
Not from the app: Timelines has one reader by design. Show the year on your phone at the visit, or export the JSON if you want to hand a copy to someone.
Does it work offline?
Entirely. It is a web app that installs from the browser and stores everything locally. Sync, when an event has it on, needs a connection at the moment you save.
Can an event span more than one year?
Yes. The bar runs off the edge of one year and continues on the next.
Can I change the emoji or colour later?
Yes, at any time. Colour is a hue on a slider; the last ten picks are kept for quick reuse.
What happens when I log out?
Every local timeline on that browser is removed. Synced events stay on the server and come back when you sign in again. Download a backup before logging out on a device you will not use again.
Which languages does the app speak?
Twenty-four interface languages, including English and Italian. The site you are reading is in two.
